Library Media Services Vision

Knox County School Librarians are the friendly faces of knowledge acquisition. Circulation Policies

PMS students may check out 2 books at a time. Books are due in 3 week cycles. However, if any one book becomes overdue, the student may not check out another one until that late book has been returned. There is a .05 cent fine for every day a book is late. This fine only applies on weekdays. Weekends, holidays, and inclement weather is excluded from fine accumulation. Teachers and the Library Media Specialist have worked together to maximize the opportunities for students to be able to browse for the materials they need.
